The President of the Government of the Balearic Islands, Margalida Prohens, held an institutional meeting this week with representatives of the Official Association of Industrial Engineers of the Balearic Islands (COEIB) at the Consolat de Mar.

During the meeting, issues of common interest to industrial engineers and the regional administration were discussed. The COEIB was represented by the dean, Mateu Oliver, the member of the Governing Board, José Luis Villabrille, and the manager, Anna Juan. Also present on behalf of the Government was the Director General of Housing, José Francisco Reynés.

The audience served to strengthen the ties of collaboration between the Balearic Government and professionals from the industrial sector, to continue to promote strategic initiatives for economic development, technological innovation and sustainability in the Balearic Islands.
