This action is carried out within the framework of the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan financed by the European Union – Next Generation EU and is included in the IBE’s Action Plan for the implementation of renewable energy projects in public buildings.
This measure is aimed at reducing emissions of greenhouse gases and atmospheric pollutants from thermal power stations through the penetration of renewable energies in the energy mix of the Balearic Islands. It also promotes a new niche of qualified, sustainable and quality work in the Balearic Islands, not linked to the tourism sector, such as renewable energies, contributing to the diversification of the economy and, specifically, to the greater democratisation of the energy sector.
