Mobility inspects more than 550 vehicles and opens almost 40 complaints in the campaign against intrusiveness and control of passenger transport services at Palma airport
This means that in this three-day campaign at Palma airport, more than 40% of the VTC fleet and more than 10% of the taxi fleet in Mallorca have been inspected.
The complaint reports were opened for the different types of vehicles inspected: 23 taxis, 11 occasional transport buses and 5 VTCS.
The reasons for the infringements detected were diverse, mainly due to non-compliance with the fare system in the case of taxis, failure to register services in the case of VTCS, and concerning the tachograph and the route sheet for occasional transport buses.
In all these cases, once the entire inspection procedure has been carried out by the technicians, it will be determined whether or not to continue with the sanctioning proceedings in each case.
