The Consell de Mallorca’s sports camps in Colònia de Sant Pere will focus on marine themes
Pre-registration for the Acampaesport sports camps is now open. The campus for children and teenagers organised by the Consell de Mallorca, which is one of the programmes of the Sports area with the highest demand, will open 1,650 places in eleven shifts in Colònia de Sant Pere in Artà.
The Consell de Mallorca maintains the capacity of 2024 with full occupancy of the Casal de Sant Guillem i Sant Antoni for eleven weeks, from 22 June to 6 September. The councillor for the Environment, Rural Affairs and Sports, Pedro Bestard, stressed that ‘Acampaesport offers sporting leisure in a privileged natural environment and aims to support family reconciliation during school holidays with a low-cost programme’. He added that ‘it is a highly sought-after programme, as evidenced by the number of pre-registrations, which exceeded 7,000 in 2024’.

The Consell will reach 1,700 children and young people with Acampaesport
Acampaesport offers families a seven-day multi-sport activity in which children and teenagers can take part in up to thirty activities, divided into age groups and taught by qualified instructors. An intense agenda that includes individual and team sports, games, etc. Participants take part in little-known activities such as hockey, scooter, acrobatic gymnastics, night gymkhana and mini-tennis.
Theme 2025: the sea
In 2025, Acampaesport will focus on the marine theme, with specific activities. Likewise, underwater activities such as snorkelling or light immersion and diving baptisms for adults will be consolidated and expanded. These join the two-star nautical activities: paddle surfing and canoeing.
