The Inca City Council, along with other organisers and participating entities, has presented the full program of activities for Pancaritat 2025, which will take place on Sunday, April 27, as tradition dictates—the Sunday following Easter.
“From the City Council, we thank all the entities and individuals who make it possible for Puig de Santa Magdalena to become a place of reunion and community, where tradition and popular culture take centre stage,” said Inca’s mayor, Virgilio Moreno.
Festivities will begin on Saturday evening with a traditional folk dance performed by Es Revetlers des Puig d’Inca, followed by a community barbecue with bonfire, benefitting Projecte Home. Later in the evening, a line dance gathering will take place on the esplanade near the hermitage.

Puig de Santa Magdalena
On Sunday, the day starts at 9:00 a.m. with a gathering in Santa Maria la Major square, where bell ringing and the sound of xeremies (traditional Mallorcan bagpipes) will mark the start of the pilgrimage to the Puig.
At 11:00 a.m., children’s traditional games will be held on the hermitage esplanade, followed at noon by a solemn Eucharist. Meanwhile, at noon, the 52nd Paella Contest will take place on the lower esplanade. At 12:45 p.m., the Unió Musical Inquera will perform a concert, accompanied by a traditional dance show. After lunch, at 3:30 p.m., there will be another folk dance by Es Revetlers des Puig d’Inca.
Once again, the City Council will provide a free bus service for the event. Shuttles to the Puig will run from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., departing from Avinguda dels Reis Catòlics and Plaça del Lledoner, and the return service will be available from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., departing from the lower esplanade.
As in previous years, the Local Police have organised a special security and traffic management plan, creating a pedestrian-only route. Vehicle access and parking will be restricted during the celebration.
