The president of the Institut Mallorquí d’Afers Socials (IMAS) and Minister of Social Welfare of the Consell de Mallorca, Guillermo Sánchez, accompanied by the Island Director of Social Inclusion, Andreu Jaume, visited the facilities of Ca l’Ardiaca in Palma this morning to reassure the individuals who had been receiving care from the altruistic association Es Refugi.
During the visit, they explained to the approximately 20 users that from now on, they will be supported by the public social inclusion network managed by IMAS. “The message is obvious: none of these individuals will be left without support. At IMAS, we have activated all necessary mechanisms to ensure that they continue to receive care, accommodation, and guidance through the public system, with full guarantees,” stated Guillermo Sánchez.
