The 13th edition of IncaBusiness continues this May with two events that champion local talent, critical thinking, and the transformative power of ideas. This year, the cycle explores the challenges and opportunities of the future with a clear focus on sustainability, innovation, and social impact.

“Both initiatives are designed to create inspiring spaces for dialogue, foster innovation, and provide useful tools to strengthen the local business fabric, in line with the spirit of IncaBusiness,” said Miguel Ángel Cortés, Councillor for City Promotion, Commerce, and Digital Management.

IncaBusiness Returns with Two Events Connecting Design, Innovation, and Social Transformation

On Wednesday, May 15, at 7:00 p.m., the creative hub Espacio 110 Mallorca will host the roundtable discussion “From Spoon to City: A Design Debate.” The event will bring together local entrepreneurs and internationally recognised design figures to explore the full journey of the creative process—from conception to commercialisation.

The session aims to address topics such as the connection between craftsmanship and the market, how manufacturers position themselves in the face of mass production, and the potential of Inca’s creative scene as a driver of new collaborations. Panellists will include: Roberto Paparcone (Paparkone Ceramics), Cecilia Sörensen (sustainable fashion), Isla and Resmes (architecture and furniture design), Joan Adrover (By Positive), Blaire Dessent (View Mallorca and TL Magazine), and Marc Nicolau (Bulthaup Nicolau).

On Thursday, May 22, at 7:30 p.m., the Teatre Principal d’Inca will host one of the main events of this edition: “The Responsible Influencer”, a conversation focused on the role of content creators in shaping a more conscious and committed society.

The discussion will be moderated by journalist Xisco Umbert and feature participants such as Luis de Val (CEO of YouPlanet), Edu Galán (writer and journalist), Ambartxu (influencer and entrepreneur), Sister Lucía Caram (social activist and content creator), and Dr. Carlos Rubí (plastic surgeon and educator). The event will explore how digital influence can be exercised ethically and with a transformative purpose.
