Ports de les Illes Balears (Portsib) has approved the launch of the tender process for a new conservation and maintenance contract for buildings, services, and facilities in the ports under its direct management on the islands of Mallorca, Menorca, and Ibiza.
The contract, which will be processed through an open procedure subject to harmonised regulation, has a total budget of €3,050,093.77 (VAT included) for the first two years (2025 and 2026), funded by Portsib’s resources.

This initiative aims to ensure the proper conservation and optimal performance of all port infrastructures and services. It includes the drafting of maintenance plans, updating of existing inventories, and the implementation of conductual, preventive, predictive, regulatory, corrective, and modificatory maintenance actions.
The contract is divided into three lots, one per island:
- Lot 1 – Mallorca: Ports of Andratx, Sóller, Pollença, Cala Rajada, Cala Bona, Porto Cristo, Portocolom, Cala Figuera, Porto Petro, and Colònia de Sant Jordi. It also includes secondary facilities in Sant Elm, Estellencs, Banyalbufar, Valldemossa, Sa Calobra, Formentor, Es Barcarés, S’Oberta, S’Estany des Coto, and S’Estanyol, as well as Portisib’s central offices and the branch located on Cardenal Rossell Street in Palma.
- Lot 2 – Menorca: Ports of Ciutadella (inner and outer) and Fornells.
- Lot 3 – Ibiza: Port of Sant Antoni de Portmany and the secondary facility of Santa Eulària des Riu.
