The Auditorium of the Higher Conservatory of Music of the Balearic Islands will host this Saturday the educational event “The School I Want: Abilities, Competencies, and Heart.” The gathering aims to highlight children’s rights and the key role of teachers as educational role models. More than 500 people are expected to attend the event.
Today’s purpose is to raise awareness about the importance of recognising children as full-rights citizens and placing them at the centre of education, public policy, and society.

The Ministry of Education and Universities Organises an Educational Day on Children’s Rights This Saturday
Throughout the day, the pedagogical model of the 3 Cs – Capacities, Competencies, and Heart – will be presented as a guide for educational action focused on the holistic development of students.
The event will feature talks by national and international educational experts, each linked to the 3 Cs and a specific children’s right, integrating culture, emotion, and learning. Speakers will include Mar Romera, Adrià Sánchez, Daniel Abad, Francesco Tonucci, Miguel Ángel Tirado, Olga Martínez, and Ana Quijada. The day will conclude with a roundtable discussion featuring Asun Gallardo, Marina Vallcaneras, Marimar Hernáez, and Mar Romera.
The objectives of the event, organised by the Ministry of Education and Universities, are to inspire the educational community, empower teachers as role models for children, and place children’s rights at the core of educational transformation.
