PortsIB Signs Agreement with Caixabank

The agreement allows users to make payments through various channels offered by Caixabank, including ATMS, digital banking (CaixabankNow), online platforms, mobile applications, electronic payment gateways, and point-of-sale (POS) terminals, both physical and virtual. This variety of options reflects the shared commitment to making tax obligations easy, secure, and accessible.

Through this initiative, Portsib continues to implement its modernisation strategy for public port services, promoting more agile, digital, and citizen-focused management. The agreement also includes strict personal data protection measures, in compliance with current regulations, along with clearly defined rights and obligations for both parties.

The agreement will initially be valid for one year, with automatic annual renewals for up to four years, unless either party chooses to terminate it with at least three months’ notice. A monitoring committee, made up of representatives from both Portsib and Caixabank, will be established to oversee implementation and ensure the smooth execution of the planned measures.

With this partnership, Portsib reaffirms its commitment to a modern, efficient public administration, tailored to users’ needs and focused on the continuous improvement of port-related services.
