ParcBit and Málaga TechPark Sign Agreement

On one hand, it will promote knowledge exchange and best practices in managing innovation and technology-driven environments, with a focus on improving key aspects such as property management, community engagement, communication, the promotion of smart and sustainable infrastructures, and the development of distinctive services.

On the other hand, the partnership will also encourage business and professional mobility, allowing companies and professionals from both parks to participate in temporary events and activities that promote synergies and drive innovation and new business opportunities.

Furthermore, the agreement will support the internationalisation of startups and innovative projects from both parks. These projects will benefit from this strategic alliance by participating jointly in European funding calls, financial programs, and international cooperation networks.

Antoni Costa emphasised that the Balearic Islands are undergoing a “transformation process to grow in value, not in volume.” He stated: “ParcBit must play a key role in this transformation. After years of neglect, this Government is implementing a development plan and a talent attraction strategy, within which this agreement fits, creating synergies and fostering collaboration.”

Meanwhile, Carolina España highlighted that this agreement marks a “firm commitment to connecting two innovation hubs in southern Europe.” She expressed confidence in its continuity, adding: “Both governments – Andalusia and the Balearic Islands – are firmly committed to sharing, collaborating, and building together.”
