This enrollment process is aimed at 3-year-old children and students wishing to change schools

Families may list up to five preferred schools in their application.

The Ministry of Education and Universities will close the application period for the 2025–2026 school year on Tuesday, May 20. The process is open for enrollment in the second cycle of early childhood education (4–6 years), primary education, special education, and compulsory secondary education (ESO). It is aimed both at 3-year-old children beginning their educational journey and at students in preschool, primary, special education, and high school who wish to transfer to a different school.

Families can include up to five schools in their application, which can be completed entirely online through the platform escolaritzacio.caib.es. This year, the Ministry has introduced digital tools that allow schools to manage the entire enrollment process online, including final registration, which until now had to be completed in person.

To streamline the procedure, the Directorate-General for Educational Planning and Management has enabled options for families who do not have a GestIB account. They can access the platform using a digital certificate or via the CL@VE system, making the process more accessible for both families and schools.

The provisional results of the applications will be published on June 4, after which families will have five days to file any claims or corrections. The final lists will be made public on June 20.

The registration period will begin on June 23 for early childhood education, primary, and special education, while for ESO (secondary education), registration will open on June 26.

For the 2025–2026 academic year, the Ministry will offer a total of 13,578 places in the 4-year-old preschool level in the Balearic Islands, distributed among 8,015 public school places and 5,563 state-subsidised (concertada) places.
