€9.7 Million Approved for School Meal Assistance for the 2025–2026 Academic Year
The aim of these grants is to finance the full or partial cost of school meal services for students in early childhood education, primary education, compulsory secondary education (ESO), basic vocational training, or transition to adult life programs in public or publicly subsidised private schools.
With this initiative, the Ministry seeks to ensure access to balanced and high-quality meals for students from low-income households, promoting equity and equal opportunities within the education system. The program also aims to support work–life balance, particularly for families facing greater financial difficulty in covering meal service costs.
