A total of 25 programs are offered for publicly funded educational centres
Application period open until June 6

The Ministry of Education and Universities has opened the unified call for training and innovation programs for the 2025–2026 school year. Publicly funded schools in the Balearic Islands can now submit their applications and choose from over 25 programs, aligned with the strategic lines of the 2024–2028 Four-Year Teacher Training Plan and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Education Ministry Launches Unified Call for Training and Innovation Programs for the 2025–2026 School Year

The programs organised by the Directorate-General for Early Childhood, Diversity Support, and Educational Improvement include:

  • Chess in Schools
  • Experimenta: Experiments as a Teaching Tool in Primary Education
  • MAP Theatre
  • Theatrical Tutoring
  • Dance Tutoring
  • Eco-Friendly Schools
  • Health-Promoting Schools
  • Schools for Global and Transformative Citizenship
  • Art in Schools

Meanwhile, the Directorate-General for Teaching Staff and Subsidised Schools offers the following programs:

  • Inter-School Observation and Learning
  • Ibemprenjove (Youth Entrepreneurship)
  • Service Learning in the Serra de Tramuntana
  • Service Learning in the Bay of Portmany
  • Service Learning in the Natural Areas of Migjorn and Llevant (Mallorca)
  • Service Learning in the Natural Park of s’Albufera des Grau
  • Service Learning in the Natural Park of Ses Salines (Ibiza and Formentera)
  • Constructive Mentorship for Teaching Practicums

In addition, eight more programs are available: four organised by the Convivèxit Service (School Coexistence) and four by the Linguistic Normalisation and Educational Participation Service.

A single school may apply for more than one program.
The goal of this unified call is to streamline the full range of training and innovation programs available to schools in the Balearic Islands, while also standardising timelines and reducing administrative burdens.
