Tender Published for the Construction Project to Stabilise
The main objectives of the project are:
- Improve traffic safety along the affected section of the road by executing works that will ensure the current and long-term stability of the existing excavation slope.
- Limit the scope of work at the base of the existing slope by building a massive concrete retaining wall. The wall will be constructed in segments to minimise traffic disruption.
- Enhance environmental and landscape integration by applying a stone masonry finish with dry-joint techniques, following traditional local methods.
- Restore existing drainage elements to ensure the proper evacuation of surface runoff from the road platform throughout the construction period.
