Tender Launched for the Replacement of the Roof at the CIFP Francesc de Borja Moll Workshops in Palma
The project involves the complete removal of the current fiber cement and metal roofing and the installation of a new aluminium sandwich panel roof with 100 mm thermal insulation. Additional work includes dismantling the suspended ceiling and interior installations, replacing electrical and data wiring, and upgrading lighting to more efficient LED systems. The works will also include repairs to the affected façades and final painting.
To ensure the continuation of educational activities during the construction works that affect the workshops at the centre, four modular classrooms will be installed. The tender for these classrooms has also been published in parallel. This initiative reaffirms the Administration’s commitment to the safety and quality of educational spaces, ensuring optimal conditions for students and teaching staff throughout the process.
