The Ministry of Education and Universities has published in the Official Gazette of the Balearic Islands (BOIB) the call for applications for the 2024–2025 Baccalaureate Academic Excellence Awards, aimed at students in the Balearic Islands who complete this stage of education with outstanding academic performance.

The Ministry of Education and Universities Announces the 2024–2025 Academic Excellence Awards for Baccalaureate Students

The goal of these awards is to recognise the effort, dedication, and motivation of students while encouraging improved academic results and promoting lifelong learning.

Students wishing to apply must pass a specific test that will take place on June 17, 2025. To be eligible, students must have completed and passed the baccalaureate (in any of its modalities) at an educational centre in the Balearic Islands during the 2024–2025 academic year and must have achieved an average grade of 8.75 or higher for the entire stage.

The six students with the highest final scores will each receive a financial award of €800. Additionally, these awards facilitate access to the National Baccalaureate Awards, further reinforcing recognition of educational excellence at the national level.

Applications must be submitted through an online form available at the Electronic Office of the Government of the Balearic Islands. The application deadline is June 3, 2025.
