Ibestat Presents the New ‘Municipality in Figures’ Viewer to FELIB
This new tool provides a clear and interactive display of the main official statistical data held by Ibestat at the municipal level. Designed for the general public, the viewer presents data through charts and tables organised into eight thematic areas: Population, Demographics, Labour Market, Household Income, Tourism, Vehicle Fleet, Initial Municipal Budgets, and Municipal Elections.
The data is updated daily. By the end of 2025, the thematic area of Housing is expected to be added, and the inclusion of the Businesses area is also under consideration.
At the municipal level, users also have access to the ‘Data by Territory’ tool, which filters tables containing information related to the selected municipality. This tool is intended for local government officials, managers, students, and the general public.
The information is displayed in tables (which users can convert into graphs and maps), organised according to Ibestat’s thematic areas and classified by statistical operations. Updates are synchronised with those available across the rest of the Ibestat website.
