Students can use public transport to reach the exam centres for the university entrance exams on June 3, 4, and 5.
The Government of the Balearic Islands, through the Mallorca Transport Consortium (CTM) and the Mallorca Railway Services (SFM), is providing an integrated interurban public transport service to enable students to travel by public transport on June 3, 4, and 5 for the Proves de Batxillerat d’Accés a la Universitat (PBAU, university entrance exams). Special metro services to the University of the Balearic Islands (UIB) campus have also been scheduled for the three days of exams.

The Balearic Government Reinforces Public Transport and Offers Special Metro Services for University Entrance Exams (PBAU)
The special service organised by SFM includes increased metro frequency during early morning hours, with additional departures from the Intermodal Station to the UIB. On top of the regular weekday service, the following additional metro departures have been scheduled:
— Tuesday, June 3: Intermodal-UIB at 7:05 a.m. and 7:50 a.m.
— Wednesday, June 4 and Thursday, June 5: Intermodal-UIB at 7:05 a.m., 7:50 a.m., and 8:10 a.m.
It is worth noting that SFM had already enhanced its regular peak-hour metro service earlier in the academic year, starting in September, with increased frequency from 7:15 a.m. to 8:55 a.m., doubling the number of trains during high-demand time slots. These improvements are now further reinforced with the additional PBAU exam-day services.
The Ministry of Housing, Land and Mobility, through CTM and SFM, provides a comprehensive interurban public transport system to ensure that students taking the university entrance exams can reach their designated exam centres using TIB interurban buses, trains, or the metro.
Most exams are held at the UIB campus, which can be accessed via metro or TIB bus lines 202 and 203. Students scheduled to take exams at centres in Sant Llorenç (Espai 36), Inca (Fàbrica Ramis), Manacor (IES Manacor), and Alcúdia also have access to various public transport options.
The Mallorca Transport Consortium will monitor demand on bus lines used by students, especially during early morning and afternoon hours, which coincide with the start and end times of the exams.
