The Consell de Govern has approved the appointment of Marina Micaela Fiscaletti Marqués as the new Director General of Social Affairs, replacing José Falcó Pérez, who is stepping down for personal reasons.

Marina Micaela Fiscaletti Appointed New Director General of Social Affairs
Marina Micaela Fiscaletti holds a diploma in Social Work from the University of the Balearic Islands, a university certificate in cognitive stimulation, and a postgraduate degree as an expert in assessing degrees of disability and dependency.
Her professional background is notable in the field of social services, working with third-sector organisations, and in the areas of disability and vulnerable groups. Since 2017, she has worked as a social worker for the Red Cross in the Balearic Islands and served as coordinator of the day-care service, a role she also held at DomusVI between 2021 and 2023. In 2023, she joined the Ministry of Families and Social Affairs as a technical advisor.
The Consell de Govern has also approved the dismissal of José Falcó as Director General of Social Affairs.
