All five stations will be operational; while there are virtually no waiting lists at the two Palma stations and the one in Calvià, requests are building up in Manacor and Inca.

The Consell de Mallorca will open Mallorca’s vehicle inspection stations (ITV) on Saturdays throughout June, with up to 4,000 inspections expected to be carried out. While the stations in Palma I, Palma II, and Calvià currently have almost no waiting lists and appointments are available for June and July, the Manacor and Inca stations are facing a growing backlog, making it increasingly difficult to meet the demand for appointments. For this reason, the decision was made to open all stations on Saturdays in June.

The stations will operate from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., and interested users can now book an appointment at any of the five ITV stations in Mallorca:

  • Palma I (Son Castelló industrial area)
  • Palma II (So n’Oms industrial area)
  • Calvià (new station)
  • Inca
  • Manacor

Appointments can be scheduled via the official website: https://itv.mallorca.es. The stations will be open on Saturday June 8, and will remain open on June 15, 22, and 29.

An agreement has been reached with the ITV workers’ committee, allowing volunteer staff to carry out inspections on Saturdays. The available personnel ensures that all 4,000 additional inspections can be completed during these weekend openings.

The Island Director of Infrastructure and ITV, Rafel Gelabert, stated:
“The goal of the Consell de Mallorca, as President Llorenç Galmés has announced, is to prevent waiting lists from building up at certain stations and to ensure appointments can be scheduled within a period of 15 days to one month. This agreement to open on Saturdays is a key step toward that goal, and I want to thank the staff at all ITV stations in Mallorca for their willingness and cooperation.”
