180 4th-Year Secondary Students to Receive Subsidies for a Two-Week Stay in Ireland, France, or Germany
168 Sixth-Grade Pupils to Join a 10-Day Course to Improve Their English
The Foreign Languages and International Projects Service of the Ministry of Education and Universities has published the final list of beneficiaries of the grants aimed at 4th-year ESO (Compulsory Secondary Education) students who wish to study English, French, or German abroad this summer. A total of 964 applications were received.

Education Department Publishes Final List of Grants for Studying Languages Abroad
Ultimately, 180 students will participate in this fully subsidised international initiative, sponsored by the Ministry of Education and Universities. The stays in Ireland, France, and Germany will take place between July 1 and August 31, 2025, in different rotations.
All programs will last two weeks, including between 40 and 50 teaching hours. The grants will cover round-trip transportation to the course destination, transfers between the airport and accommodation, local transportation in the destination country, expenses for accompanying tutors, complementary activities, accommodation with host families on a full-board basis, educational materials, and insurance.
The most requested language was English, with a total of 149 spots awarded (119 in Mallorca, 18 in Eivissa and Formentera, and 12 in Menorca). For German, 24 places were allocated (23 for students from Mallorca and 1 from Menorca), and for French, 7 places (4 from Mallorca and 3 from Menorca).
English Courses for Primary School Children
The final list of pupils who will receive the grant for the 10-day course aimed at improving English skills for sixth-grade students has also been published.
A total of 376 applications were submitted, and 168 places have been awarded: 133 in Mallorca, 22 in Eivissa and Formentera, and 13 in Menorca.
The course will last for 10 weekdays, Monday to Friday, from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., totalling 50 hours of academic and recreational activities.
The Ministry of Education and Universities will cover all expenses related to the program (academic and recreational activities), additional activities and related travel, educational materials, instructors, and insurance. Families will be responsible for daily transport to and from the activity centers.
