With the new service, Cala Rajada users will save nearly 30 minutes per trip
Next Wednesday, June 11, the new TIB 411e interurban express bus line will begin operating, connecting Cala Rajada, Capdepera, Artà, and Sant Llorenç with Palma.
This new route will provide semi-direct services for residents of these towns, significantly reducing the travel time to Palma, as passengers will no longer need to transfer between lines in Manacor.
The new 411e Cala Rajada – Palma line will run eight trips in each direction daily, from Monday to Sunday. Thanks to this new service, users in Cala Rajada will save approximately 30 minutes per journey.
Timetables and the full route for the new line can be consulted at https://www.tib.org.

The Government Launches New TIB Express Line Connecting Cala Rajada to Palma Starting Wednesday, June 11
In addition, starting Wednesday, the existing 411 line from Cala Rajada to Manacor will also expand its service with an earlier first departure at 5:40 a.m. from Manacor.
Moreover, the new Cala d’Or – Palma express service is scheduled to begin operations in the last week of June. This year, both express lines will launch in June, but starting next year, they will operate from April through October.
The creation of these new express routes adds to the recent improvements in the TIB interurban bus network. These enhancements, introduced by the Government, are the result of modifications made to the contracts of the three major bus concessions in Mallorca. The changes aim to better meet passenger demand and accommodate a 20% increase in ridership recorded during 2024.
These contract modifications have also enabled an expansion of the bus fleet and the year-round availability of Aerotib services connecting various towns with the airport.
