Rules and Call Approved to Improve Private Sports Facilities Managed by Sports Entities
The goal is to enhance private facilities managed by non-profit sports organisations, recognising the valuable work they do for athletes’ health and the expenses they incur in maintaining and improving these facilities. Therefore, keeping these facilities in optimal condition is essential to ensure a safe, healthy, and accessible sports practice for everyone.
The call is divided into two lines:
- Line 1: Dedicated to investments made to improve sports facilities, including sports practice areas and complementary zones managed by the entity. The total amount allocated to this line is 180,000 euros, with a maximum grant of 40,000 euros per entity.
- Line 2: Dedicated to preventive and corrective maintenance of the sports facility carried out by the entity. The total amount for this line is 80,000 euros, with a maximum grant of 20,000 euros per entity.
The deadline for submitting applications will begin the day after the call is published in the Official Gazette of the Balearic Islands (BOIB), expected in the coming days. Proposals for maintenance activities carried out between August 1, 2024, and July 31, 2025, must be submitted by August 31.
