The collaboration between both fashion labels puts the spotlight on island-based fashion and its creators.
Nine designers under the Isla Bonita Moda label will showcase their collections at Futur Adlib on June 6. These are: Diazar Atelier, BAN, Lepa Punca, Shamelu, Sara Luis Joies, Rayco Plata, Julia Brito, Waleska Morin, and Mararte.
Following the historic twinning of Isla Bonita Moda and Futur Adlib in 2024, La Palma’s official support program for design and signature fashion returns this year to the Ibiza catwalk with a carefully curated selection of creations that spotlight island creativity and its deep connection to craftsmanship.
With a collaborative and multidisciplinary approach, the nine designers will present their collections on the FUTUR ADLIB 2025 runway this Friday, June 6, in the iconic setting of Sant Miquel de Balansat church courtyard. This initiative not only strengthens their alliance but also positions the event as a meeting point between regions, sensibilities, and ways of interpreting fashion.

Adlib Ibiza and Isla Bonita Moda Reaffirm Their Alliance
The Adlib Ibiza label, promoted by the Consell Insular d’Eivissa, and Isla Bonita Moda, promoted by the Department of Economic Promotion of the Cabildo of La Palma, continue their partnership with a shared goal: to support and elevate the talent and designers of the islands.
Maria Fajarnés, Councillor for Economic Promotion, Municipal Cooperation, and Human Resources, stated:
“Adlib Ibiza and Isla Bonita Moda share the ambition of giving island designers the recognition they deserve — a fashion rooted in tradition and craftsmanship, overcoming the challenges of island geography, and proving that talent knows no boundaries.”
She added:
“This exchange is inspiring and provides a unique growth opportunity for talent from both islands.”
Miriam Perestelo, Councillor for Economic Promotion of the Cabildo of La Palma and CEO of Sodepal (Society for the Promotion and Economic and Social Development of La Palma), said:
“FUTUR ADLIB is an excellent opportunity to project our designers’ work in a high-level professional setting. The Ibiza market is a reference point in creativity, fashion, and tourism. Participating in this platform helps consolidate Isla Bonita Moda as a brand of identity, quality, and international projection. From the Cabildo of La Palma, through Sodepal and Isla Bonita Moda, we sincerely thank the organizers for their continued trust in our designers and for providing them with a platform in such a strategic market.”
A Twinning Focused on Fashion and Traditional Crafts
DIAZAR ATELIER: SIWA SWIMWEAR COLLECTION – A Design Oasis
A collaboration between Diazar Atelier, artisanal leatherwork brand BAN, and jewelry label Lepa Punca has produced a deeply evocative capsule collection inspired by the Siwa Oasis. This proposal merges textile, leather, and jewelry to channel nature, serenity, and the power of the desert. Sand tones, geometric motifs, and hand embroidery create an aesthetic narrative where design becomes a sensitive language, fashion a cultural channel, and craftsmanship a connection to land and time.
SHAMELU: SIJAK – A New Beginning
The designer behind Shamelu presents SIJAK: Beginning, a swimwear collection symbolizing a new creative chapter. Inspired by traditional Asian fashion and reimagined through a contemporary lens, it combines geometric and organic forms to convey intentional chaos and fluidity. Featuring brand patterns, Mararte’s artisan jewelry, and Ban footwear, the collection celebrates the tension between past and present.
RAYCO PLATA + JULIA BRITO: L’Estasi – Sculpture in Motion
Rayco Plata, in collaboration with Julia Brito, presents L’Estasi, a capsule collection inspired by the Italian Renaissance. Ethereal silhouettes, flowing fabrics, and the angelic sensuality of classical sculpture translate into garments that wrap the body in elegance, highlighting the beauty of natural movement and anatomy. This work merges art, history, and design with deep sensitivity.
SARA LUIS JOYAS: BOMBYX MORI – The Art of the Invisible
With BOMBYX MORI, Sara Luis honors the silk weavers of El Paso and the silent labor of the silkworm. Drawing on metamorphosis and fragility turned legacy, each piece captures a suspended moment in time. This collection isn’t worn — it’s revered: a tribute to the power of the essential, invisible memory, and craftsmanship elevated to art.
WALESKA MORIN: A Symphony of Color and Form Inspired by Ensor
Waleska Morin draws artistic and profound inspiration from the painter James Ensor. His vivid color palette informs a symbolic collection with asymmetrical cuts, floral explosions, and bold visual language. Inspired by ballet and vintage musicals, these designs celebrate movement, expression, and color. Roses, yellows, whites, and other warm tones dance in the sun like a timeless melody.
About Adlib Ibiza
Since 1971, the island of Ibiza has been the birthplace of a unique approach to fashion — a philosophy rooted in respect for nature and the slow fashion movement. Adlib Ibiza is a hallmark of craftsmanship that began over 50 years ago when the first hippies blended the island’s traditional attire with fabrics and styles from around the world. Today, Ibiza fashion continues to inspire top designers and includes both women’s and men’s collections.
