The Consell de Mallorca Showcases its Municipal Support Model in Valladolid
Under the slogan “Transformative Services: Driving Municipal Management”, the event addressed the major challenges faced by smaller municipalities—from basic service provision to resource management and digital transformation.
Representing the Consell de Mallorca, Beatriz Camiña, Island Director of Municipal Assistance, took part as a speaker. Her presentation focused on “the essential support that supramunicipal administrations offer to municipalities—particularly smaller ones—through technical, legal, and economic assistance.”
Camiña emphasised that “the catalogue of services provided by the Municipal Support Services (SAM) is a key tool that enables us to offer effective responses to the demands of local councils.”
The Valladolid Fair hosted this two-day event, which brought together professionals, technicians, and policymakers committed to improving municipal management. The congress also fostered inter-institutional dialogue to strengthen cooperation and explore new alliances.
