Education Department Approves Public Call to Create a Pool of Educational Technical Assistants
The candidate pool resulting from this call will remain valid for one school year, from September 1, 2025, to August 31, 2026. Once this period ends, the pool will expire and cannot be reactivated.
To streamline procedures for filling ETA positions and meet the needs of educational centres, starting in September, the Department of Education and Universities will directly centralise management. This change will enable a faster and more efficient response, as the Department has first-hand knowledge of the reality of the schools and the necessary mechanisms to meet their demands more promptly.
With this management change, the Department of Education and Universities continues to work on improving support for students with specific educational support needs and on attention to diversity. For the 2024–2025 school year, there are 382 ETA positions available in the Balearic Islands—61 more than the previous year.
