The Foundation’s Board approved the Plan of Trustees on April 4, 2025.

The Foundation is a key tool for coordinating and promoting the government’s sports policy in the Balearic Islands.

The Consell de Govern has acknowledged today that the Board of Trustees of the Balearic Islands Sports Foundation has approved the entity’s Action Plan for the year 2025, by Article 17.2 of Law 7/2010, of July 21, on the instrumental public sector of the Autonomous Community of the Balearic Islands.

The Consell de Govern Acknowledges the Approval of the 2025 Action Plan of the Balearic Islands Sports Foundation

The Plan, approved by the Foundation’s Board of Trustees on April 4, 2025, outlines the strategic lines and priority actions that the Foundation will carry out throughout the year to support the promotion, development, and advancement of sports in the Balearic Islands.

The Balearic Islands Sports Foundation is attached to the Ministry of Tourism, Culture, and Sports, and operates under its Statutes, published in the Official Gazette of the Balearic Islands (BOIB) No. 127, dated September 26, 2024. The Foundation’s main objective is to promote sports practice in all its forms and to support the sports ecosystem of the Balearic Islands through programs, initiatives, and partnerships with public and private entities.

With this approval, the Foundation continues to consolidate its role as a key instrument for coordinating and promoting the sports policy of the Government of the Balearic Islands and reaffirms its commitment to fostering inclusive, high-quality, and locally rooted sports.
