“From the Inca City Council, we are committed to an active, enriching, and inclusive summer for all children and youth in the municipality. We want everyone to have access to educational and leisure opportunities that allow them to grow, share, and enjoy their holidays in a safe and stimulating environment, while also supporting work-life balance,” said Inca’s mayor, Virgilio Moreno.

The Inca Summer School runs for 12 weeks, from the last week of June through mid-September. Children are grouped by age and hosted in different municipal spaces: Miquel Duran i Saurina, Ponent, and Llevant, which also use the municipal pools at the Mateu Cañellas and Catalina Corro sports centres.

The program includes cultural activities, excursions, swimming, games, group dynamics, and other proposals aimed at enjoying the summer while also fostering skills and civic and social values. Currently, over 600 children are enrolled and will enjoy a rich and diverse leisure program.

Additionally, the Sa Fàbrica Youth Centre is organising “Estiu Jovink”, with around 50 participants. This activity targets 12- to 16-year-olds and runs from June 30 to July 25.

The city council also offers swimming courses for children and adults every year during July and August, and hosts the “Estiu Actiu” program, which offers sports activities for youth and adults.

At the same time, the municipality hosts many more summer camps and schools, organised by local clubs, associations, and entities in Inca. The offerings range from leisure-based summer schools and language improvement courses to sports camps focused on the technical training of specific disciplines such as football or taekwondo, among others.
