33 candidates sit the theoretical test to compete for 31 positions across 9 specialisations
The Government of the Balearic Islands, through the Balearic School of Public Administration (EBAP), held on Saturday, July 12, the second exercise of the selection process to fill a total of 31 positions across 9 specialisations within the Technical Specialist Corps (subgroup A2).

The Balearic Government Holds the Second Examination for Entry into the Technical Specialist Corps of the Balearic Islands
The test, theoretical and computer-based, lasted three hours and was held at 09:00 a.m. simultaneously in Mallorca (at the Gaspar Melchor de Jovellanos building on the University of the Balearic Islands campus), Menorca, and Ibiza (in secondary education institutes).
A total of 72 participants were called to take the exam: 60 in Mallorca, 5 in Menorca, and 7 in Ibiza. Ultimately, 33 candidates attended the test: 27 in Mallorca, 3 in Menorca, and 3 in Ibiza.
The positions correspond to the following specialisations:
- Employment and labour market technician
- Tourism activities technician
- Therapist
- Agricultural technician
- Speech therapist
- IT technician
- Technical industrial engineer
- Technical forest engineer
- Technical architect
The computerised test was designed to evaluate candidates’ theoretical knowledge in each of these specialised areas.
