According to the final list published today, 925 positions have been definitively assigned to teachers who applied for a commission. Many of these educators benefited from the new measures introduced last year, aimed at improving proximity between the workplace and home.
As agreed with teachers’ unions, this year’s call prioritised family-work life balance. The following criteria were considered:
- Having children under 12 years old
- Being part of a single-parent family with children under 18
- Having dependent first-degree relatives
- Being over 55 years of age
- Facing double insularity between the island of residence and the final assigned destination
📊 Distribution of the 925 approved commission requests:
- 400 (43.2%) for personal reasons
- 200 (21.6%) for forming part of school management teams
- 276 (29.8%) for service needs
- 49 (5.3%) for island coverage
