President Galmés welcomes 11 qualified young professionals joining the Consell de Mallorca and IMAS

The President of the Consell de Mallorca, Llorenç Galmés, welcomed eleven qualified young professionals who are beginning their professional careers in various departments of the Consell and the Institut Mallorquí d’Afers Socials (IMAS). Their incorporation is part of the program “Employment Opportunities for Qualified Young People in Local Entities 2025”, promoted by the SOIB and co-financed by the European Union (ESF+).

President Galmés welcomes 11 qualified young professionals joining the Consell de Mallorca and IMAS

During the ceremony, President Galmés thanked the new professionals for their “commitment to public service” and encouraged them to make the most of this experience to “contribute their knowledge, enthusiasm, and energy to building a better Mallorca from within the island’s administration.”

The recruits will be hired for twelve months and will perform technical and support functions in various areas of the Consell and IMAS. The program is aimed at unemployed young people, aged over 18 and under 30, with university degrees, intermediate or higher vocational training, level 2 or 3 professional certificates, or equivalent qualifications in artistic or sports studies.

The professional profiles joining are:

  • Senior Economist Technician
  • Architect
  • Digital Communication Technician
  • Administrative Assistant
  • Double Degree in Law and Economics
  • Double Degree in Law and International Studies
  • Industrial Technical Engineer
  • Network Systems Administration Technician
