The Atlàntida Mallorca Film Fest (AMFF) continues its program this Friday, August 1, with a day full of screenings, special events, and gatherings featuring prominent names from the worlds of film and fashion.
Morning screenings and events
Starting at 10:00 a.m., the Parc de la Mar will host the traditional Photo of the Day. This will be followed by the Special Fashion Gala with the presentation of The Designer is Dead, directed by Gonzalo Hergueta, Juan Pérez de Rozas, and Santos Bacana.

The Atlàntida Mallorca Film Fest brings together filmmakers and actors for an intense day of premieres
At 10:10 a.m., the National Official Section will screen Ariel, by Lois Patiño, with the presence of the director himself and actress Irene Escolar. The program will also include Mario, by Guillem Miró, attended by Jaume Madaula, Gloria March, Raquel Ferri, and Daniel Bayona, as well as Dios lo Ve, by Álex Guimerá.
At 10:15 a.m., En un lugar de la mente will be screened, featuring José Corbacho, Catalina Solivellas, and non-professional actors.
Press interviews
From 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., a dedicated space will be available for interviews at the Hotel Victòria Gran Meliá with the film teams: Gonzalo and Santos Bacana (The Designer is Dead); Lois Patiño and Irene Escolar (Ariel); and Guillem Miró, Jaume Madaula, Gloria March, Raquel Ferri, Daniel Bayona, and José Antonio Ocaña (Mario).

‘The Designer is Dead’ Photocall
The day will conclude at 8:00 p.m. with the official photocall for The Designer is Dead, featuring the film’s team — led by director Gonzalo Hergueta and the producers of Little Spain — alongside numerous invited celebrities.
Stars walking the carpet will include Samantha Hudson, Tom Blyth, Carolina Yuste, Chino Darín, Marina from RuPaul’s Drag Race, Natalia Ferviu, Rossy de Palma, Edu Sola, Marina Forever, and Itzan Escamilla, among others.
