Inca City Council improves the drinking water network in the industrial estate
This initiative will optimise the management and control of water consumption, improve the hydraulic performance of the network, and ensure a better service for industrial estate users. The project includes installing a new drinking water transport pipe, which will form part of Inca’s hydraulic ring, as well as incorporating sector meters with remote management systems and gate valves to sectorize the system.
“We continue to move forward in improving infrastructure and providing more competitive, efficient, and sustainable municipal services. This action reinforces the City Council’s commitment to responsible water resource management and the ecological transition,” said Inca’s mayor, Virgilio Moreno.
The contract has been awarded to AMER E HIJOS, S.A. for an amount of €412,502.74 (excluding VAT), with an execution period of five months. This project is co-financed by the Consell de Mallorca and the Sustainable Tourism Tax Fund of the Government of the Balearic Islands, within the framework of the 2024 grant call to ensure urban drinking water supply to the population of the municipalities of Mallorca (Water Pact).
