The Consell of Mallorca publishes a grant line for investments in social economy entity stores amounting to €443,000

Of the total €443,000, €234,000 is allocated to non-profit social responsibility entities, while €200,000 is for for-profit entities.

The Minister of Economic Promotion and Local Development, Pilar Amate, stated that the purpose of this call is

“to help modernize, provide visibility, and improve the competitiveness of this type of social economy store, which operates under a business model based on values of participation and equity, and values the consumption of local and proximity products, such as Mallorcan products.”

Amate also emphasised that with this line of aid,

“we are responding to requests from cooperatives, entities, and small businesses that have direct sales outlets for Mallorcan products, while also promoting the island’s social economy.”

Entities that carry out investments in their physical stores (points of sale) to improve energy efficiency and universal accessibility, as well as to fund technological programs and product organisation, will be eligible for the grants.

The deadline for submitting applications is 25 calendar days from the day following the publication of the call in the BOIB. The grants are expected to be awarded by late September, and justification may be submitted from the day following publication in the BOIB until 31 October 2025.

The maximum amount per project or store is €30,000, and the payment of the grants is expected to be made within the current year.
