The EASIB begins a new chapter to strengthen its academic and institutional project

The Consell de Govern has been informed of the appointment of Mr. Antoni Miquel Planas San José as the new Academic Director, and Mr. José Manuel Martínez Onieva as the new Managing Director of the Public Enterprise for Higher Artistic Education of the Balearic Islands (EASIB), an entity under the authority of the Ministry of Education and Universities.

Antoni Planas Appointed New Academic Director of the Higher Artistic Education Institution of the Balearic Islands (EASIB)

Both appointments, effective as of August 1, 2025, were made by the president of EASIB, the Minister of Education and Universities, Antoni Vera Alemany.

With this leadership renewal, EASIB enters a new stage with the objective of reinforcing its academic and institutional mission in the field of higher artistic education, consolidating its position as an educational and creative benchmark in the Balearic Islands.
