Palma, 11 August 2025 — Tonight at 9:00 p.m., the Cinema a la Fresca open-air film series begins at Parc de les Estacions, offering a total of 15 free screenings until September 4. In August, films will be shown at Parc de les Estacions, and starting in September, screenings will move to Francesc García Orell Square.
This year’s program features films from various countries, periods, and languages, including five in Catalan and two silent classics: Metropolis (1927) and The Phantom of the Opera (1925). Recent releases such as Padre no hay más que uno 4, Alien: Romulus, and Oppenheimer are also included.

Cinema a la Fresca
The event’s organisation contract was awarded last Wednesday to Acustic Live S.L., a Palma-based company, for €50,820 (VAT included). The agreement runs for two years, with the possibility of a two-year extension.
The opening film tonight will be the Spanish comedy Padre no hay más que uno 4: Campanas de boda, directed by Santiago Segura.
