Catalina Cabrer, Minister of Labour, Public Function and Social Dialogue, held her first official meeting on Wednesday with Francesc Fiol, President of the Economic and Social Council (CES), who took office last May. The meeting served to reaffirm the cooperation between the two institutions.

Catalina Cabrer Strengthens Cooperation with the Economic and Social Council

During the meeting, held at the Ministry’s headquarters, key issues were discussed, including the need to promote economic and social policies that foster the sustainable development of the Balearic Islands. Cabrer underlined the CES’s role as an advisory body that helps ensure public policies are more effective and aligned with the territory’s realities, while fostering dialogue between the administration and social and economic stakeholders.

“Our goal is to maintain constant contact with the CES so we can work together towards sustainable development that benefits the entire Balearic society,” said the Minister.
