Transport Ministry launches a podcast to analyse the impact of infrastructure on citizens’ daily lives

Each episode features insights from technical experts behind the projects, along with real testimonies from citizens whose lives have been positively impacted by these essential infrastructure developments. Every instalment opens with an introduction by the Minister of Transport, Óscar Puente.

The first episode focuses on the evolution of rail transport in Spain over the past 50 years, highlighting key milestones and challenges. The second episode, scheduled for release on July 28, will delve into the development of air transport, exploring Spain’s strategic role in European air navigation and its leadership in emerging technologies like drones, within initiatives such as U-Space.

To complement the podcast, summary videos and additional materials will be published in a new dedicated section on the Ministry’s official website. This initiative aligns with the growing popularity of podcast content, which has seen a 30% increase in consumption in Spain over the past year, according to Spotify data.
