EBAP to Provide Online Courses and In-Person Oral Expression Workshops Across All Islands
Catalan language training courses for public employees, organised by the Balearic School of Public Administration (EBAP) — an agency under the Ministry of Labour, Public Service and Social Dialogue — will begin on September 23, 2025. This training offer is part of the 2025 Catalan Language Training Plan, aimed at strengthening the linguistic skills of staff serving public administrations.

Government to Launch Catalan Language Training for Public Employees in September, Offering Over 1,000 Places
The courses will run from September 2025 to February 2026 and include 910 online places, distributed as follows:
— B2 level: 175 places
— C1 level: 245 places
— C2 level: 210 places
— Administrative language: 280 places
In addition, in-person oral expression workshops will be held in Mallorca, Menorca, and Ibiza, with a total of 175 places, designed to help participants prepare for the oral component of official exams.
Placement tests are scheduled for March 2026.
With this initiative, the Government of the Balearic Islands reaffirms its commitment to a high-quality public administration that is close to citizens and rooted in the linguistic reality of the region.
