The new contract goes out to tender with a value of €4.2 million spread over three years

This measure ensures the continuity of an essential service for the proper functioning of educational centres

The Consell de Govern today authorised the Minister of Education and Universities, Antoni Vera, to exercise the powers related to the authorisation and allocation of expenditure for the cleaning service contract in 18 educational centres across the Balearic Islands.

Authorisation granted for the cleaning service contract in 18 educational centres

The new contract will provide cleaning services for:
CIFP Can Marines, IES Quartó del Rei, CEPA Pitiüses, EOI Inca, IES Guillem Cifre de Colonya, IES Llorenç Garcias i Font, IES Sant Agustí, IES Ses Estacions, IES Son Rullan, Conservatori Professional de Música i Dansa de Mallorca, CIFP Son Llebre, CIFP Joan Taix, IES Alcúdia, IES Algarb, IES Antoni Maura, IES Guillem Sagrera, IES Xarc, and CEPA Artà.

The tender budget amounts to €4,229,570.11 (VAT included), distributed across three fiscal years as follows:

• 2025: €188,256.87
• 2026: €2,107,027.57
• 2027: €1,934,285.67

With this measure, the Ministry guarantees the continuity of an essential service for the proper operation of educational centres, ensuring optimal hygiene and sanitary conditions for the entire school community.
