The Inca Town Hall has presented the official T-shirt that local participants will wear in the 44th edition of the Pujada a Lluc a Peu de la Part Forana, scheduled for September 14. This year, the design pays tribute to the 150th anniversary of the arrival of the railway to Inca, a milestone that shaped the town’s history and growth.
The presentation took place at Inca’s train station and was attended by mayor Virgilio Moreno; the president of the Association of Former Blavets, Llorenç Gelabert; the manager of Serveis Ferroviaris de Mallorca, José Ramón Orta; local police chief, Miquel Llabrés; and Quely’s Marketing Director, Maria del Mar Aguilera, among others.

Mayor Moreno highlighted that the march to Lluc is a deeply rooted tradition and a moment of unity for the community. “This year’s T-shirt allows us to celebrate not only the spirit of the event but also the 150 years since the train first arrived in Inca, a defining moment in our town’s history,” he said.
He also thanked the local company Quely for its continued support: “Their collaboration helps keep this tradition alive and ensures participants have a unique commemorative T-shirt to identify them along the way.”
Registrations will be open at Inca’s Town Hall from September 3 to 11, between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. Upon registration, participants will receive transport tickets, and Inca residents will also be given the commemorative T-shirt and a safety light.
