The Plenary Hall of the Consell Insular d’Eivissa hosted the ceremony for the Vuit d’Agost Awards 2025, prizes organised since 1997 to honour the work of artists and researchers from the island. These awards strengthen the link between the community and its culture, becoming a key tradition in Ibiza’s cultural calendar.
The president of the Consell d’Eivissa, Vicent Marí, highlighted that the awards “are an example of the talent and creativity of Ibiza’s artists,” stressing that their aim is “to value the wide range of different and innovative artistic proposals that encourage, year after year, research, inspiration, and cultural creation for Ibiza.”

The Consell of Ibiza presents the Vuit d’Agost Awards 2025
The Councillor for Education, Culture and Heritage, Sara Ramon, expressed gratitude to participants and underlined the broad representation of artists, recalling that since 202,3 the contest has included six categories with the addition of music.
In this edition, awards were granted in painting, clay crafts, photography, graphic design, and music, while the research category had no submissions.

- Graphic Design: EA by Pablo Borrego López-Roso.
- Pop/Rock Music: Tants de secrets by Claudia Bardagí Serra.
- Classical Music: Fragmentació i desfragmentació d’Eivissa by Adolfo Villalonga Juan.
The juries of each category highlighted the high artistic quality and originality of the winning works, reinforcing the importance of these awards in promoting the island’s cultural life.
