Starting this Monday, September 1st, Serveis Ferroviaris de Mallorca (SFM) will resume its regular schedules, bringing an end to the reduced summer service that had been in place during August.
The summer timetable came into effect on August 1st, with slightly fewer trains to match the seasonal drop in demand. Since last year, this adjustment has only applied in August, unlike previous years when it also covered the second half of July.

SFM restores regular schedules with more trains from September 1st
In 2024, additional changes had to be made due to the ongoing renovation of the overpass on Carrer Greco, near Verge de Lluc station. The works required single-track operations and reduced speeds, but are progressing according to schedule. The project involves replacing the old structure with a new bridge to address its deterioration and improve both safety and the appearance of the underpass.
With this stage completed, double-track circulation has been restored across the network, and all stations in the affected section have resumed normal operations. Trains are once again stopping at both platforms at every station.
