PortsIB launches a strategic plan to improve dredging material management in Balearic ports

The contract, valued at €1,187,282.25 (VAT included), will run for 20 months, with €181,500 allocated in 2025 and €1,005,782.25 in 2026.

This initiative seeks to anticipate dredging needs, optimise operations, and ensure the correct execution of works that are essential to maintaining port functionality and efficiency.

By implementing this plan, the Ministry reinforces its commitment to sustainable and efficient sediment management, balancing the protection of the marine environment with the operational safety and competitiveness of the ports across the Balearic Islands.
