The Sa Fàbrica Youth Centre has launched a new activity program for the upcoming quarter, once again created from the ideas and initiatives of its own users. Over the past years, this project has consolidated itself as a platform to promote youth self-management and participation, providing a space where young people take the lead in designing and running activities.

Sa Fàbrica Youth Centre kicks off a new quarter of self-managed activities

Mayor of Inca, Virgilio Moreno, emphasised: “It is essential for us that young people feel the Youth Centre as their own place, where they have both a voice and the ability to make decisions. This program of self-managed activities is a clear reflection of the talent, creativity, and drive of Inca’s youth.”

Meanwhile, the Councillor for Youth and Participation, Antoni Peña, highlighted: “What makes this project unique is that young people are not just participants, but protagonists from the very beginning. Every activity stems from their proposals and is managed by themselves or by youth groups. This makes the Youth Centre a living, dynamic space that is truly connected to the needs and interests of Inca’s young community.”

The program features a wide range of workshops covering cultural, artistic, educational, and leisure activities. Current offerings include urban dance, art attack, theatre, artistic expression, batucada, painting, chess, contemporary dance, drawing, line dancing, and youth connections.

The program remains open to new contributions. Anyone over 18 years old with ideas for workshops, skills to share, or projects to develop is welcome to submit a proposal. Full details of this quarter’s activities can be found at somjovesinca.net.
