Neus Villalonga 2025. Interview with Neus Villalonga

Question: Neus Villalonga 2025, how did your journey in the world of fitness and wellness begin?
Answer: I started very young, at just 16, in the Ciclos Gomila. That’s when I realised I didn’t just enjoy training but also teaching. I remember still being in school and practising gymnastics, until one day I spoke to my father and told him I wanted to dedicate myself seriously. He supported me, and I began teaching classes.

Question: Has your personal life influenced your professional path?
Answer: Neus Villalonga 2025. Very much. When my father passed away, I was 26, and I went through a very difficult time with anxiety and phobias. My psychologist advised me to spend some time away from Binissalem, so I moved to Alcúdia. There, Joan from Can Boy helped me find work, although it wasn’t exactly what I was looking for. Still, I kept training, and over time, new opportunities opened up.

Question: How was your return to the fitness and training world?
Answer: I first worked in Lloseta and then in a gym in Alcúdia. Thanks to social media, people discovered me, and I was first offered a job at reception, then as an instructor. Late, I joined Illes, Megaesport in Palma, and eventually, a company invited me to open a gym in Binissalem. After eight years, I decided to launch my own project: Movement By. I’ve been running it for three years now, and it’s been an incredibly rewarding experience.

Question: What is the philosophy behind your centre?
Answer: We welcome everyone here, from 8 to 86 years old. We train people of all ages, including seniors, individuals with reduced mobility who don’t want to be labelled as “elderly,” and even those who have overcome illnesses like cancer. For me, the key is adapting training to each personal story and showing that sport is always a positive force.

Question: What makes Movement by different from other gyms?
Answer: I bring a lot of my personal life experience. I know what it means to start from scratch, fall, and get back up again. That’s why I aim to create a warm and human environment. Here, there are no age barriers or labels: we all train together, with respect and positive energy. My dream has always been to help people feel better in both body and mind.
