The Health Service Incorporates Four Clinical Psychologists for the Ponent and Migjorn Health Sectors

The four new specialists hold the official qualification of Clinical Psychology Specialist (via PIR). Their main tasks will include offering individual and/or group psychological care to improve the population’s mental health, providing personal or family care depending on each patient’s needs, and conducting group interventions, among other functions.

The incorporation of these four clinical psychologists, together with the improvement of contractual conditions for another five, represents an additional step in the Health Service’s commitment to strengthening mental health care. Along these lines, a few months ago, the Health Service also incorporated eight clinical psychologists into Primary Care and SAMU061.
