The Inca City Council has renewed its collaboration agreement with the Cooperativa Pagesa d’Inca, reaffirming its support for local farmers and the agricultural sector. Under this agreement, the municipality will provide €40,000 in funding to improve and modernise the cooperative’s facilities.
The investment will make it possible to upgrade the cooperative’s headquarters, including the shop, warehouse, offices, and meeting room, through the purchase of new equipment and the refurbishment of spaces to meet current needs.

Inca strengthens its commitment to agriculture by supporting the Cooperativa Pagesa
Mayor Virgilio Moreno highlighted that «the Cooperativa Pagesa d’Inca is a key driver of the economic and social development of our city. With this agreement, we strengthen its role, support the agricultural and livestock sector, and contribute to revitalising rural life.»
Representatives of the cooperative expressed their gratitude for the City Council’s support, stressing that this contribution will allow them to continue improving the services they provide to members and to the wider community.
The signing of this agreement demonstrates Inca’s commitment to reinforcing strategic sectors such as agriculture, which are deeply rooted in the city’s identity.
