José María Gallardo del Rey

José María Gallardo del Rey made his debut in Seville, immediately captivating both the public and critics. His precocious talent led him to solid musical training, laying the foundations of his unique style. As he developed as a classical guitarist, Gallardo enriched his technique by immersing himself in flamenco. This fusion of styles shaped his distinctive interpretation of Spanish music, earning him growing prestige on international stages.

His versatility has enabled collaborations with major artists such as Plácido Domingo in “Pasión Española” (Latin Grammy, 2008), Elina Garanča in “Habanera Gipsy” (2010), and Teresa Berganza in “Caprichos Líricos” (1996). He also worked alongside Paco de Lucía as artistic advisor and director for his debut with the Concierto de Aranjuez in Japan (1990).
